ABC Network Refuses Commercial Criticizing Obamacare

I received the following letter from the League of American Voters regarding ABC's refusal to allow anti government healthcare commercials on its network. Just as a reminder, in case you have forgotten, back in June of this year as the healthcare debate was heating up on the floor of the House and the President was telling us a bill had to be passed before the Legislature's summer vacation, ABC spiked John Stossel's story regarding the deteriorating Canadian Healthcare system in favor of allowing the President to run an hour long infomercial on its network about his healthcare plan for America. http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2009/20090625043708.aspx

Stossel's story about Canadian healthcare was finally shown at the end of July, just as most people taking their summer vacations and with no promotion of any kind by the network. Its a great piece of journalism and can be viewed at the following site.

As if we didn't already know its very clear now what side of the debate ABC's journalists are going to be presenting in the coming months regarding Obamacare.
