I wasn't planning on supporting Huckabee in 2012 but this seals the deal for me. When you are afraid to back someone in a very important race like the one in New York's 23rd district you are showing your true colors. Huckabee is either too afraid to lose support for the RNC in Washington by supporting Hoffman or he is a progressive like the Republican candidate but doesn't want to admit it. Either way I am glad to know now what time of man Huckabee before he runs for President. Next candidate please!

The same goes for Romney.
"What do you find most often in the middle of the road? Road kill. Mitt Romney, who hopes to be the GOP's next presidential nominee, couldn't bring himself to endorse anyone in New York state's contentious 23rd congressional district special election.
The contest, which features a liberal Republican, Dede Scozzafava, and a conservative one, Doug Hoffman, has been a flashpoint for a party in search ofits identity. An all-star lineup of national party leaders has weighed in, allowing themselves to be defined by whose side they're on. But not Romney. Theformer Massachusetts governor passed, and this could have serious ramifications down the road."

Its time the RNC woke up and realized that conservatives are dissatisfied with the direction of the party. The RNC can either change quickly or it can be marginalized. Either way history may be made come 2012 with either a viable 3rd party canidate or a true conservative in the White House.
