Sounds like a fine idea to me. It is certainly not as offensive as building a Mosque next to the WTC, which will be seen by the Muslim world as a monument to a great day in the Jihadist movement and will open on the 10th Anniversary of the attacks. I just can't wait until this Mosque is built and all those weaselly politicians are calling for its closure after the next attack is perpetrated by one of this Mosque's members.
And by the way why are we as taxpayers funding a trip for the Iman of this future mosque to visit the Middle East.
Is ground zero mosque imam best choice for diplomatic mission to Middle East?
The State Department plans to send Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Imam behind
the controversial ground zero mosque, to the Middle East as part of a public
diplomacy mission to explain how Islam is perceived in America. Critics are
complaining the imam is too 'radical' to represent the US.
