The NRA Is for the Second Amendment but is Against the 1st Amendment
I have decided to remove the NRA's logo from my blog until they stand up to the Democratic majority in Congress regarding the "Disclosure Act H.R. 5175". To get a fair and balanced view on the NRA's decision to get an exemption from the Act I suggest reading the following blogs about the issue:
National Rifle Association’s First Amendment Sellout

Support from the .50 caliber Association for the NRA's decision
http://www.ammoland.com/2010/06/22/examining-nra-response-to-disclose-act/
At the end of the day I believe Red State's version of what happened rather .50 calibers. The NRA is a great organization but at times in the past it has put its agenda above gun owners and it is my believe that it did so in this case.

Has 'South Park' gone too far this time?
I hope "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker keep it up. South Park is entertaining and if you don't like it don't watch it. The cartoon is supposed to be controversial and it deliberately makes fun of all races, religions, genders, sexual preferences and yes gingers. As for the leader of this America hating Muslim group that CNN interviewed, I hope he steps over the line so that the authorities have a legitimate reason to arrest him. But if he doesn't step over the line he should be able to say whatever he wants just like Stone and Parker. There is a reason that the Founders made Freedom of Speech the 1st amendment because its our most important God given right.
